Truth!
The truth spoken on this podcast is extremely refreshing. The perfect podcast to listen on how to operate as a Christian in the many roles one has to walk in daily life. 10/10

Real
The first one I heard was “Dealing with Toxic Relationships” and I was hooked. I listened to both part 1 and 2 several times. It’s real information every week that happens to everyone regardless of your background. Every podcast hits home. Love the wisdom and conversations that takes place. I look forward every week to listen to the next episode. Just today I told myself that I’m going to go back to season 1 to listen to all of them. Very Encouraging! Thank you for being Real!!!
Family Council
So appreciate this podcast and the support given to families of all types. Just listened to the special needs episode. Wow. Thank you for that valuable insight and the wonderful resources.
A Dads Heart
It’s not often you listen to a podcast and get a sense of the heart of the interviewer/ host… but when it comes to The AFB podcast, you hear the heart of a dad, not a clinician or therapist or influencer. You hear an authentic desire to inspire and teach lessons learned from living. Steve Alessi may not have the “oh shucks” voice of Andy Griffith yet he carries the same spirit.
Needed for such a time as this….
This could not come at any better time. We need a refreshing word hitting the air waves. Love the transparency and realness that is exuded in the podcasts. Each topic is very relatable.
Perfect for growing families!!
I am currently in the “littles” stage with my Children. And I’m soaking up all the amazing knowledge that I get from each one of these podcast. All of them have been a blessing. Their vulnerability, knowledge, and advice, have all been a blessing to me. I definitely recommend to any and everyone.
Truth
Every episode is filled with truth that you can apply for your family, business and every other relationship.
Family is everyone’s business!
I love how the pastors are not afraid to touch on topics that are difficult but that we all need guidance in. I’m so thankful that they’ve decided to create this podcast and create a space where we can go in depth on these topics and get insight in these areas of life. I’m so excited for the next season and I can’t wait to see what topics we’re going to talk about next!
Encouraging, funny, interesting and God led!
I love it! It’s interesting and catchy! Once you start listening you can’t stop and there’s always a godly message that makes you think!
MUST LISTEN/WATCH ALL EPISODES!
I completely love this podcast. The Alessi Family is a pastoral family that has opened up to their “podience” for a side of them that cannot be shared on Sundays. They share spiritual tools in a fun and practical way that will enable its listeners to truly live the more than abundant life God has for his children. Very inspiring. 100% recommended ✅
Wise teachings for families!
Great teachings for families that work together… or not. We all need some good advise to raise families in this day and age and The Alessi Family Business has been my guidance. Thank you God for this
Real.
It’s a weekly dose of reality. I love listening and truly learn how to cope with things one goes through. The Alessi family is truly inspiring. So blessed to know them!
Inspirational
Great to see normal people reacting real situations in life and dealing with that, based on the best teaching book ever.
I love this podcast!
I’m loving the content the podcast has; It’s truly a breath of fresh air. We often tend to think of our pastors as non-wrong doers, incapable of making mistakes, not having the same feelings, thoughts, doubts on any given matter as we do. I would say….we can forget they are human too. —this podcast, transcends that. It’s refreshing to listen how they, too, live day in and day out with the same challenges we do, and are gracious enough to share their experiences very organically. Not only
Amazing podcast!
Every time I listen to podcast I learn something new. This podcast will teach you how to navigate all relationships in your life in the best way!
The best
These podcasts talk about real life issues we face nowadays. I love it!!

Steve Alessi Profile Photo

Steve Alessi

Pastor / Author / Speaker and Encourager

A Miami native, Steve Alessi was called into ministry at the age of 19 and has faithfully answered that call for over 40 years. After graduating from Southeastern University in 1984, he served alongside his parents as Associate Pastor of Grace Church of Kendall.

In 1997, he and his wife, Mary, founded Metro Life Church in Doral, Florida. Then, on November 10, 2013, Pastors Steve and Mary acquired and became the Lead Pastors of Grace Church, transforming it into the Dadeland Campus of Metro Life Church.

Today, Steve enjoys ministering with the help of his wife, four adult children, their spouses and their grandchildren; Christopher & Richelle Alessi with little Marino, Chris & Stephanie Muiña with little Gianna, and Lauren and Gabrielle Alessi. Under his leadership, Metro Life Church has two growing local campuses and a vibrant and innovative online campus. Part of his passion is to challenge men to Man Up in life through Metro’s Goodfellas Camps throughout the year at his Farmhouse in Southwest Georgia. The family also hosts a weekly Christian lifestyle podcast about their lives in ministry entitled The Family Business with The Alessis.
In 2007, Steve suffered a widow-maker heart attack and survived after paramedics worked on him for 42 minutes; hitting him seven times with the paddles to keep his heart pumping. The poignant lessons learned from that experience have been summed up in the book he authored, Forty Two - How To Finish Strong When You Thought You Were Finished. This powerful axiom has become his life's mission to help others who have experienced their own 42 moments.

Steve enjoys giving back to his community as a former member of the City of Doral’s Faith-Based Charities Advisory Committee, and presently serves on Miami-Dade County Commissioners’ Interfaith Advisory Board and is a Chaplain with the Doral Police Department. He also enjoys the fellowship of his Pastor, Mike Hayes, and is a member of the Champion’s Network with Pastor Joel Osteen.

For fun he enjoys hunting, boating, and traveling with his family and friends.
